A FRENCH BRONZE GROUPING OF A DEER AND TWO HUNTING DOGS, 19TH CEN. - A beautifully cast bronze grouping depicting a stag caught by two hounds on the hunt, one dog on the stag's back, nipping at its ears, and the other to the stag's side, running towards his throat. The piece is kept atop a rectangular bronze base and is affixed with bolts using the hand cut square nuts common to the 19th century. France, 19th century. Please make all inquiries before bidding.
