A FRENCH GILT BRONZE AND RUBY GLASS CENTERPIECE WITH SILVER DEER, 19TH CENTURY - A finely crafted French centerpiece comprised of Gilt-bronze sculpted to appear as three gilt-bronze intertwined palm trees surrounded by three majestic silver stags facing outward, the top surmounted by a ruby red glass bowl painted with polychrome and gilt floral decoration across its entire surface. The underside of the stand shows the hand-cut bronze nuts characteristic of nineteenth century work. France, 19th century. Please make all inquiries before bidding.
