AN AUSTRIAN ART DECO PATINATED BRONZE AND ONYX FIGURAL NIGHTSTAND LAMP, 1920S - A fine quality Austrian Art Deco figural nightstand lamp modeled as a cast bronze figure of a semi-nude exotic dancer in a luxury headdress. The lamp base is a combination of black marble and onyx, with the onyx part of the base illuminated. Decorated with a four-sided patinated bronze setting around the onyx part of the base, depicting a quartet of African 'minstrel' musicians: a pianist, a bass player, a saxophonist and a drummer.
