A BRONZE SCULPTURE BY BORIS LOVET-LORSKI, RUSSIAN, TITLED ”COUPLE”, 1928 - Boris Lovet-Lorski, a bronze Art Deco sculpture depicting a reclining couple. Signed ”Lovet Lorski” on the base. Provenance: NYC Private Collection since 2019. Boris Lovet-Lorski (1894-1973) was a Lithuanian and American sculptor and graphic artist. He studied at the Imperial Academy of Art in St. Petersburg and moved to the United States in 1920, settling in New York City. Boris Lovet-Lorski became an American citizen in 1925.
