A SOVIET RUSSIAN SILVER CIGARETTE CASE DEPICTING THE RIGA SKYLINE, SOVIET UNION, CIRCA 1950 - A rectangular silver cigarette case, the front engraved with a detailed panoramic view of the Riga city skyline, including its iconic spires and waterfront, framed by a decorative border and inscribed with the monogram ”RK.” The interior is gilded and fitted with two elastic retaining bands. The closure is set with a cabochon (likely synthetic ruby or carnelian). Hallmarks: S (in lozenge), Soviet 875 silver standard (875/1000), post-1958 Soviet assay mark.
