AN ENGRAVED RUSSIAN SILVER LIDDED TANKARD, MOSCOW, 1851 - An engraved lidded gilt-silver tankard is of a tapering form, with partially niello-decorated leafy arabesques on a round base. Centered on either side of two cartouches engraved with ”1854” and ”Moscow”. The hinged lid and handle are decorated in suit. Gilt interior.
