A FINE JEWELRY BOX MOUNTED IN PIERCED STEEL WITH ORIGINAL KEY - A fine jewelry box mounted with an extremely intricate pierced steel overlay in delicate foliate scrollwork over a lining of vibrant red fabric. The sides are mounted with burnished brass handles. The interior is lined in similar red fabric throughout, as well as tooled red Morocco leather to the insert. The insert with a fabric lid at the center and ring holders on each side. The key of brass is affixed with a pink tassel. Italy, 19th century. Please make all inquiries before bidding.
