A RUSSIAN IMPERIAL PORCELAIN FACTORY EASTER EGG, 19/20 CC. - An exquisite Imperial Russian porcelain Easter egg, ovoid in shape, finely decorated with a continuous band of naturalistic floral sprays—including roses, forget-me-nots, and other spring blossoms, interspersed with foliage. The background features an elegant white ground adorned with blue stylized leaf motifs, framed within an arched trellis pattern accented with gilded dots and gilt borders. The egg is divided into decorative zones by diagonal gold bands, forming cartouches that frame each floral motif. The overall design reflects the refined taste of the Russian court during the Romanov era, where eggs of this type were gifted during Orthodox Easter as symbols of renewal and imperial favor.
