A RUSSIAN CUT-GLASS AND SILVER DECANTER BY BOLIN, 19TH CEN. - Cut crystal silver-mounted decanter in Art Nouveau style. The body is hand-cut with deeply faceted in a diamond-point and crosshatch pattern. Hinged silver top modeled as a stylized bud, fitting over the pouring spout. Hallmarks: 88 Russian silver standard, kokoshnik, maker's mark ”Bolin” in Cyrillic. Please make all inquiries before bidding. All lots are sold ”as-is”, refer to our T&C. Condition: The cut-glass cone-shaped body remains intact with no visible chips or cracks. The intricate diamond pattern is crisp and well-defined, showing only light surface wear consistent with age and handling. The silver collar and hinged cover, decorated with repoussé leaf motifs, exhibit even tarnish and patina. Minor surface scratches and small scuffs are visible under magnification, typical of age.
