A RUSSIAN CLIOSONNE ENAMEL LETTER OPENER BY KHLEBNIKOV, CA. 1910 - A Russian silver and enamel letter opener, dating to the late 19th or early 20th century by KHLEBNIKOV. The handle is decorated with cloisonné enamel in traditional Russian floral and scroll patterns, using turquoise, red, blue, and white enamels. The blade is made of polished birch wood with visible grain and a smooth finish. The trim is silver beaded along the edge, a hallmark of Russian silversmithing (IVAN KHLEBNIKOV), from Moscow.
