A RUSSIAN PARCEL-GILT SILVER SET BY GRACHEV, FOUR PIECES - A Russian parcel-gilt silver four-piece tea and coffee set by Grachev Brothers (ГРАЧЕВЪ), St. Petersburg, late 19th–early 20th century. Simple and elegant with Art Nouveau–influenced shapes, reflecting late Imperial Russian taste. Approximate date: c. 1896–1908. Silver, marked 84 zolotnik (.875 silver purity) with kokoshnik hallmark (facing right, post-1896), assayer’s initials ”AP.” Maker’s mark: Grachev Brothers, Imperial Court suppliers. Parcel-gilt interior (gold-washed lining). Engraved with monogram (same on all four pieces). The set includes: a coffee pot with a hinged lid, an angular handle with ivory insulators, a cream jug, a sugar bowl with a swing handle, and a large basket (likely a cake or biscuit basket) with a swing handle.
