A RUSSIAN SILVER AND CHAMPLEVE ENAMEL BEAKER, 1898 - Russian silver and champleve enamel beaker of cylindrical form, raised on three silver ball feet. The body is richly decorated with vibrant champlevé enamel in polychrome hues of cobalt blue, turquoise, green, white, and red, against a stippled gilt-silver ground. The upper and lower bands with repeating stylized floral motifs and geometric medallions, the central register with scrolling foliage and floral cartouches over a cream-white ground with fine filigree-like enamel scrolls. Hallmarks: 84 Russian silver standard, Moscow city mark, ”S.K.” maker's mark in Cyrillic, ”A.A”, 1898. Weight: 8.08 o., 229 g. Please make all inquiries before bidding.
