A P.E. GOUREAUD BRONZE, ACTOR MAX DEARLY AS A JOCKEY, EARLY 20TH CEN. - A nicely made bronze by the French sculptor P. E. Goureaud depicting the famous French actor Max Dearly (born Lucien Paul Marie-Joseph Rolland) in the outfit of a jockey with a riding crop in his hands. The face and hands of the piece are carved from pieces of bone attached to the bronze. The base is signed 'Max Dearly' and 'P.E. Goureaud'. Please make all inquiries before bidding.
