A MULTI-COLOR BRONZE BUST 'THE FALL OF EVE', ART-DECO STYLE, C. 1920 - A brilliant and large two-tone bronze bust entitled 'The Fall of Eve' by an artist as of yet unknown to us, depicting the still innocent and naked Eve as she is tempted by the serpent, slowly slithering from shoulder to shoulder across her back as he convinces her to eat of the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. The piece does not appear to be signed. Please make all inquiries before bidding. All lots are sold ”as-is”, refer to our T&C. Helios Auctions does not ship in-house. A list of recommended shippers will be provided. Dimensions: H: 15 1/4 in., (38.7 cm.) Condition: Very good overall with a nice patina. A small ”gash” to the back of the head which appears to have been present from casting.
