AN UNUSUAL CAUCASIAN KINDJAL DAGGER WITH ENGRAVED BLADE, C. 1896 - A 19th century Caucasian kindjal dagger of a slightly unusual form, in particular its handle and guard being more squat and round than a typical kindjal. The guard and pommel of the dagger are decoratively chased, as is the blade which shows a large floral design at the forte of its fullered blade. Condition: Very good. Tip is still very pointy. Very minor pitting to the blade. Some small chips to handle. Engravings are clear and present. One rivet is missing on the grip.
