A PERSIAN WOOTZ KHANJAR DAGGER WITH ENGRAVING, 19TH CENTURY - A Persian khanjar dagger of the Qajar period, beautifully decorated above the hilt with floral patterns in gold damascene. The remainder of the blade has the typical curvature of a khanjar dagger and a raised mid-rib running its length. The hilt and the scabbard are decoratively engraved throughout with geometric and floral patterns and depictions of people and animals. Qajar Persia, 19th Century.
