AN ITALIAN HUNTING DAGGER WITH GILT-BRONZE GUARD, 17TH/18TH CENTURY - A nicely crafted hunting dagger from Italy. The gently curved blade is unadorned except for a stamp at the forte which appears to be a maker's mark. The hilt is primarily of horn with an unusual meandering pattern throughout. The clamshell guard is of gilt-bronze which has been chased decoratively. Italy, 17th/18th Century. Please make all inquiries before bidding. All lots are sold ”as-is”, refer to our T&C.
