A FRENCH HUNTING DAGGER WITH DYED BONE GRIP, 18TH CENTURY - An 18th-century French hunting dagger of characteristic style with a nicely crafted dyed bone handle and decorated brass fittings. The single-edged, single-fullered blade bears the remnants of stamped fleur-de-lis on either side. The blade is accompanied by a black leather scabbard, which is now missing its fittings.
