AN AUSTRO-HUNGARIAN OFFICERS' PARADE SWORD, CA. 1900 - A high-ranking officer's bronze mounted sabre with a single-fullered blade. The cross guard has a nice cast-bronze Austro-Hungarian eagle at center. The grip scales are of mother-of-pearl and the hilt is of gilt-bronze. Please make all inquiries before bidding. Dimensions: L: 40 1/2 in. (103 cm.) Condition: The sword is in good condition overall, the hilt is tight. The blade shows dark sport but it is not pitted and fits the scabbard well. There are no visible signs of restoration. Scabbard shows expected signs of wear and age.
