A TURKISH PALA SWORD WITH WOOTZ BLADE, 19TH CENTURY - An early 19th-century Ottoman Empire pala sword. The blade is made of Wootz steel. Scabbard mounts are made of gilt-brass. The scabbard is covered with stitched shagreen leather. The hilt is made of polished horn. Ottoman Empire, 19th century. Please make all inquiries before bidding.
