A JAPANESE MIXED-METAL LIDDED BOX, MEIJI PERIOD (1868–1912) - Rectangular, raised on bracket feet, the lid decorated in relief and colored metal overlays with a sailing ship at sea, two smaller vessels in the distance, the sides with floral sprays in copper and shakudō. The interior gilt, the underside with an impressed maker’s mark within a square, and an engraved artist’s signature to the corner. Please make all inquiries before bidding.
