A VIENNA BRONZE ENAMEL PAINTED FIGURE OF A STANDING ARAB, CA. 1900 - A Vienna cold-painted bronze, likely representing a Middle Eastern or North African water seller or street vendor, part of the Orientalist genre popular in late 19th to early 20th century Austrian decorative arts. Minor rubbing and age-related wear are typical and acceptable for Vienna bronzes of this type and period (c. 1900–1915). Please make all inquiries before bidding. Dimensions: H: 6 3/4 in., (17.3 cm.) Condition: The cold-painted polychrome patina is largely intact, especially on the robe, head wrap, and accessories. There is some typical minor wear to the high points and extremities, e.g., the base edges, walking stick, and cup rims expected for age.
