A EUGEN VON KRAMER OIL PAINTING OF A HUNTING SCENE, SECOND HALF OF THE 19TH C. - Eugen von Kramer (German, 1851 - 1900), an oil painting depicting a hunting scene with several horsemen and a dog in the forest. Signed lower right: 'Eug. Von Kramer, Munich.' Note: Eugen von Kramer was probably self-taught, created mainly small-format animal pictures in the tradition of August Schleich, called Schleichgustl (1814 - 1865), patron of his orphaned brother-in-law Max Thedy (1858-1924), active in Munich.
