A PAIR OF OSTRICH EGGS ON VIENNA COLD-PAINTED BRONZE STANDS, BY ANTONY REDMILE, C.1900 - A pair of ostrich eggs mounted atop identical bronze stands shaped as trees with their branches cupping the eggs and their roots plunging into the base which appears as grassy ground with yellow flowers. The bronze has all been cold-painted in the Viennese style often seen at the beginning of the 20th century. Vienna, Austria, early 20th century. Please make all inquiries before bidding.
