A LARGE ART NOUVEAU BRONZE VASE WITH FIGURAL DECORATION, CIRCA 1900 - The tall, tapering neck and rounded base are cast in high relief with a fruiting tree and foliage, the body applied with a seated youth gathering fruit in a basket, with additional scattered fruit on the ground. Finished in a rich brown patina with natural wear. The verso is plain. This is characteristic of late 19th–early 20th century Art Nouveau metalwork, where natural motifs and figural elements were integrated into vessel forms. Comparable examples appear in both French foundries (e.g., Susse Frères, Barbedienne) and continental workshops influenced by the Art Nouveau movement. Please make all inquiries before bidding.
