A SOVIET COMMEMORATIVE TOKEN: ”FOR EXCEPTIONAL EDUCATIONAL AND ENLIGHTENMENT CONTRIBUTIONS” (1933) - Melchior (copper and nickel alloy), gold plating, Ukrainian SSR, 1933. Obverse: The front of the token features a Soviet-era coat of arms with 7 flags, representing the USSR. The emblem is flanked by decorative elements and a gold-plated raised symbol of a book, possibly indicating the educational nature of the award. Reverse: The reverse side bears an inscription engraved in Cyrillic: ”Шановному фахівцю т. Льовшину М в день 8 березня X/Ф 33 р ДКМС”. (Translation: ”To the esteemed specialist comrade Levshin M on March 8, 1933, X/F 33, DKMS”). The reverse side is also stamped with a fine engraving and a noticeable chain hole for suspension.
