A RUSSIAN ORDER OF ST. GEORGE CROSS 4TH CLASS IN GOLD WITH RIBBON FOR NON-CHRISTIAN - A RUSSIAN IMPERIAL ORDER OF ST. GEORGE, 4TH CLASS CROSS, GOLD AND ENAMEL, NON-CHRISTIAN ISSUE, WITH RIBBON St. Petersburg or Moscow, circa 1870–1917. Of standard 4th class form, a gold Maltese cross with white enamel arms, the central medallion on the obverse painted with the black Imperial double-headed eagle on a pink ground within a gilt border, the reverse (for non-Christian recipients) bearing the Imperial cipher of St. George rather than the image of the saint, suspended from the original black and orange moiré silk ribbon.
