AN 1832 CERTIFICATE OF L'ORDRE ASIATIQUE, MORAL, UNIVERSEL - A ceremonial or honorary brevet (certificate) of knighthood or officer title within a symbolic or esoteric order named: ”L’Ordre Asiatique, Moral, Universel de la Noble Porte de l’Élysée.” ”Brevet d’Officier de l’Ordre Asiatique” (Certificate of Officer of the Asiatic Order). Issuing Authority:Alina d’Eldir, titled as the ”Sultane Fondatrice, Grande-Maîtresse” (Founding Sultana, Grand Mistress of the Asiatic, Moral, Universal Order of the Noble Porte of the Élysée). Recipient: Le Marquis de la Moussaye. He is appointed as an Officer of the Order. Date: Le quinze Juillet mil huit cent quatre-vingt-treize, (15th of July, 1893). Signed by Alina d’Eldir, Grand Mistress, signed by the Grand Chancellor: Charles Mercier d'Ois. Contains wax seals and two embossed stamps for authenticity. The elaborate title and stylized language reflect the Romantic and Orientalist trends of the era, common in symbolic orders.
