A RUSSIAN GILT-SILVER TEA GLASS HOLDER WITH GUILLOCHE ETCHING - Of baluster form on a circular foot, the body finely engraved with guilloché wavy bands and centered with a medallion enclosing a monogram in Cyrillic letters, probably “IP”. The angular handle with flat terminals surmounted by a circular thumb rest. Rich parcel gilding throughout. Hallmarks: 'AC' cyrillic maker's mark, 'IK' cyrillic assayer's mark, 1881 date mark, 84 silver proof, St Petersburg city mark. Weight: 6.1 oz (172 g.) Please make all inquiries before bidding.
