A RUSSIAN PAINTED AND GILT CUT-GLASS GOBLET, 19TH CENTURY - Of elongated, slightly flaring form, the upper register is decorated with a wide gilt band featuring leaf and scroll ornament, now worn from age and use. The body with vertically cut panels and further gilt foliate highlights. Raised on a faceted stem and square foot. Likely made in one of the major Russian glassworks operating in the mid- to late-19th century, such as the Imperial Glass Factory or a provincial manufactory producing in the same style.
