A LARGE RUSSIAN PARCEL-GILT SILVER TEAPOT WITH BONE DETAILING - Of baluster form with a fluted neck and a domed hinged lid topped by an urn-shaped finial, the teapot features a gracefully curved spout and handle adorned with acanthus leaf decoration and fitted with bone insulators. It stands on four scrolling rocaille feet, and the interior is richly parcel gilt. Hallmarks: Maker’s mark ”JT”, kokoshnik mark for silver standard. Weight: 29.5 oz. (836.3 g.)
