A RUSSIAN ENGRAVED PARCEL-GILT SILVER IFC SILVER TEAPOT, C.1899–1908 - The body of tapering cylindrical form with a curved spout and scroll handle fitted with ivory insulators, the hinged cover surmounted by a turned finial. Finely engraved throughout with sinuous Art Nouveau floral motifs and interlaced scrolls enclosing a central cartouche with monogram. The interior gilded. Marks: 84 zolotnik standard with Moscow assay mark (St. George and dragon), Maker’s mark И.Ф.С. (I.F.S.) in Cyrillic, Assayer’s initials ”IS”. Weight: 458 g., (16.2 oz.)
