A RUSSIAN PARCEL-GILT SILVER CREAMER WITH BONE HANDLE, 1839 - A Russian parcel-gilt silver creamer with a tapered, squared body with slightly rounded edges and a swooping curved spout. The top of the body is decorated with detailed rose patterning, while the body has many repousse lobes. The piece is affixed with a carved bone handle in an almost filigree-esque shape. Hallmarks: 1839 date mark, 84 silver proof, St George Moscow mark, other marks illegible. Weight: 9.85 oz., (279.2 g.) Please make all inquiries before bidding.
