A RUSSIAN OPENWORK SILVER CHURCH LAMP (LAMPADA), 19TH CENTURY - The body is finely crafted in pierced and engraved openwork, composed of scrolling foliate and vine motifs tapering to a drop finial with suspended chain tassel. Fitted with the original green glass insert. Suspended on three chains attached to a domed canopy, also in silver. The rim struck with 84 silver standard hallmark and assayer’s mark, and with maker’s initials ЛЕ, additional 84 standard marks impressed to the chain link attachments.
