A SMALL RUSSIAN PARCEL-GILT SILVER BUD VASE BY SAZIKOV, 1840 - A finely crafted silver bud-vase by the famous silversmithing firm Sazikov, with a bulbous belly flaring at the top and bottom, with its surface decorated with sculpted acanthus leaves running vertically from the base to the rim. Imperial Russia, 1840. Hallmarks: 'SAZIKOV', 84 silver proof, kokoshnik, 'ND' assayer's mark, 1840 date mark. Weight: 5.8 oz., (164.4 g.) Please make all inquiries before bidding.
