A LARGE RUSSIAN PARCEL-GILT SILVER TWO-HANDLED COVERED BOWL - Of lobed oval form with twin scroll handles and four stylized foliate feet, the body finely engraved with allover guilloché pattern and cartouches of Rococo design. The domed lid surmounted by a figural finial cast as a leafy branch bearing fruit. The interior parcel gilt. Hallmarks: Maker’s mark ”PT” in Cyrillic, silver standard 84, assay letter ”V”, and inventory number 2392. Weight: 21.2 oz. (601 g.)
