AN OIL ON PANEL LANDSCAPE FISHING SCENE, 18TH C. - Italian oil on panel landscape painting depicting a serene riverside scene framed by trees and rocky outcrops beneath a luminous sky filled with drifting clouds, with two human figures fishing. Housed in a gilded wooden frame. Inscribed in French in ink on the verso. Attributed to Giuseppe Zais (1709-1784), a Venetian painter who waas influenced by Marco Ricci and Francesco Zuccarelli.
