AN OIL ON CANVAS PAINTING OF THE LAST SUPPER BY A FOLLOWER OF FRANCESCO BASSANO - An oil on canvas painting 'The Last Supper, ' by a follower of Francesco Bassano the Younger (26 January 1549 – 4 July 1592), also called Francesco Giambattista da Ponte or Francesco da Ponte the Younger, an Italian painter of the Renaissance period. Inside the grisaille-painted architectural structure, a laid table forms a brightly illuminated horizontal line. Jesus Christ is depicted in the center, surrounded by his disciples.
