A EUROPEAN OIL ON CANVAS, THE HOLY FAMILY WITH ANGELS, 18TH CENTURY - A refined Baroque depiction of The Holy Family with Angels, combining tender intimacy with celestial grandeur. The Virgin and Child occupy the foreground, surrounded by adoring angels and the figure of Saint Joseph, while cherubs hover above in soft light. The scene conveys the painter’s mastery of serene composition and luminous color, consistent with late Baroque Italian devotional art, possibly of the Venetian or Neapolitan school.
