TO VINCENT ADRIAENSEN LECKERBEITEN, 17TH CEN. - A large oil on canvas painting, The Conversion of Saint Paul, attributed to Vincent Adriaenssen Leckerbetien (1595–1675), a Flemish Baroque painter. The painting depicts the dramatic moment when Saul, on his way to Damascus, is struck by a flash of light and falls from his horse. The artist creates a multifigural composition with a dramatic use of light and shadow, and bright color accents. 17th century. Please make all inquiries before bidding.
