A GUIDO CACCIAPUOTI (1892–1953) BRONZE OF TWO DEER - A Bronze sculpture made by Guido Cacciapuoti (1892–1953). Born into a family of Neapolitan ceramists, he emerged as a prominent Italian sculptor and ceramist of the early 20th century. In 1931, he founded the Grès arte Cacciapuoti studio in Milan, where he gained praise for his elegant Art Deco porcelain and grès animal figures as well as occasional bronze works. This sculpture is a finely patinated bronze depicting two deer, one standing alert with head raised, the other grazing with head lowered. This piece is signed by the artist 'Guido Cacciapuoti' and numbered '919'. Please make all inquiries before bidding. All lots are sold ”as-is”, refer to our T&C.
