MARINA NUNEZ DEL PRADO, HEAD OF A MAN, SIGNED CAST BRONZE SCULPTURE CA 1930S - Head Of A Man, patinated cast bronze on a wooden stand, signed piece by Bolivian artist Marina Nunez del Prado Vizcarra (1908-1995), dated as circa 1930s or early 1940s. The piece is probably a portrait of the artist’s husband. Early artwork piece with signature at the lower back reading as M Nunez del Prado. Supported by a single screw to its wooden cube base. Marina Nunez del Prado was one of the most important artist of her generation in Latin America. Her work evolved in 4 four recognizable periods or styles. Since her early career, received high level notoriety being included in exhibition of 1943 at the MoMA Nueva York: The Latin American Collection The Museum of Modern Art.
