AN ART DECO BRONZE AND GLASS MUSHROOM TABLE LAMP WITH LIZARD MOTIF - A whimsical Art Deco lamp modeled as a stylized mushroom with a richly colored glass shade of mottled orange and white, resembling a forest toadstool. The naturalistic bronze stem rises from a textured base featuring a finely detailed lizard and smaller mushroom, all resting on a warm orange marble plinth. The lamp exemplifies the period’s fascination with nature and stylized organic design, blending natural motifs with the decorative modernism typical of French lighting from the 1920s and 1930s. Attributed to Max Le Verrier or in the manner of Muller Frères, France, circa 1925–1930. Cast and patinated bronze, orange glass shade, on variegated marble base.
