A PORTFOLIO OF GRAPHIC WORKS INCLUDING ILYA SCHOR (1904–1961), CIRCA 1930S–1940S - A diverse group of drawings and prints assembled in a portfolio, comprising approximately a dozen works on paper in various media. Included are wood engravings, lithographs, and original sketches, several with inscriptions in Hebrew. Notable among the group is a woodcut by Ilya Schor, depicting a praying figure in tallit with Hebrew text above, executed in his distinctive Judaica style. Additional works include a moonlit townscape with Hebrew inscription, a bold charcoal portrait of a man in a hat dated 1945, studies of heads and profiles, abstract color compositions, and architectural views.
