A PAIR OF CARVED WOODEN FIGURES, ALPINE REGION, 19 CEN. - A pair of carved black forest-style figural figures currently functioning as candlesticks, their form and flat bases strongly suggest that they may have originally served as decorative support elements or uprights on a larger piece of furniture, such as a kitchen cabinet or buffet/hutch, particularly one in a rustic or Alpine farmhouse style.
