A JOE A. PECSENKE (HUNGARIAN, 1941-1989) COMMEDIA DELL'ARTE ETCHING - A Commedia Dell'Arte style print by Hungarian artist Joe A. Pecsenke (1941-1989), numbered 54/150 to the lower left and signed by him to the lower right. Pecsenke was a theatre actor and artist born in Hungary during WW2. His time designing and directing operas influenced his style and subjects greatly, giving him a unique perspective on the traditional Commedia Dell'Arte motifs. Pecsenke moved to the United States in 1971 where he would live and practice his craft until his passing in 1989. Please make all inquiries before bidding.
