A RUSSIAN SILVER AND CLOISONNE ENAMEL MATCHBOX HOLDER, C. 1910 - A Russian silver matchbox holder decorated across its surface with intricate cloisonne enamel in polychrome floral patterns against a gilt ground. These matchbox holders would have been used by wealthy individuals in Tsarist Russia, usually in conjunction with similarly decorated cigarette cases.
