AN EMPIRE STYLE FRENCH BRONZE MANTEL CLOCK WITH SEATED WOMAN, 19TH CENTURY - A gilt bronze mantel clock in the French Empire style, as a sculpture of a woman sat atop a rock which houses the clock mechanism and dial, a bunch of grapes next to her and other flora around the boulder. The base is stepped, with sculpted molding and patterning on the tapered middle section and around the bottom, the whole piece sat atop four curved feet. France, 19th century.
