A BRONZE FIGURE OF A LADY ON A CARPET WITH RED MARBLE BOWL, CONTINENTAL, LATE 19TH–EARLY 20TH CENTURY - A charming gilt-bronze decorative figure depicting a young woman leaning gracefully forward, one hand raised to her cheek and the other holding her skirt, posed in front of an oval bowl carved of deep red marble. The figure is modeled with fine facial details and a textured bodice, standing on a cast bronze base worked as a tasseled carpet. The red marble bowl rests on four cabriole-style gilt-bronze supports adorned with small paw feet. Please make all inquiries before bidding. All lots are sold ”as-is”, refer to our T&C.
