A FRENCH BRONZE EGYPTIAN REVIVAL INKWELL MANTEL CLOCK, 19TH CENTURY - A French bronze combination mantel clock and inkwell set in the Egyptian Revival style, with the clock flanked by two sphinxes facing the gilt bronze lidded inkwells at the ends of the base. The clock is surmounted by a bust of a Pharaoh and surrounded by other Egyptian motifs. The dial is labeled by the American retailer of this piece 'Brown & Rogers, Providence'.
